AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The mission of Harmony continues to be to create a harmonious space that supports the needs of the whole child.

We offer a personalized, Montessori inspired after school program in our beautiful center to enjoy safe and fun activities. Our rates are comparable to after school programs offered at public schools, however we offer personalized care with low staff to child ratios.
Our skilled and experienced staff will keep children engaged long after the dismissal bell rings. Students will participate in a wide variety of structured activities alongside their peers such as music, art, Park West Playground, drama, yoga, board games, and homework support.

Daily choice and child-driven projects give students freedom to explore individually, in small groups, and as a community. We take students outside to Park West as often as possible. Children are supervised in play at the park or games of Jenga, hop-scotch, sidewalk chalk, etc.
A snack is provided. Students are welcome to bring their own nut-free snacks from home if they prefer. All surfaces and cleaned before and after snack. Students wash hands prior to eating.
Harmony staff are skilled professionals with extensive experience working with children. All educators participate in our training program, which covers safety, education, Montessori-based philosophy and restorative, respectful discipline training throughout the year. Our instructors are social workers, pre-school and elementary teachers and college students studying education related fields. Read more about our experienced and caring educators here.
Tuition is $25/day for 5 days/week and $27 for 4 days/week and is determined by the number of school days in the CPS calendar year and accounts for CPS planned school days off. Each month tuition is calculated by multiplying the total number of school days in the month by the daily rate. For planned CPS non-attendance days, Harmony will offer a full day of activities (Fun Days). These days are NOT included in tuition and registration is through a separate link.
